This Tuesday we are spotlighting Blue Suck Falls Trail

Blue Suck Falls Trail, which begins at the Discovery Center, is one of the park’s most popular hikes. The full trail is 3.2 miles long and rated difficult, though the waterfall is located about 1.5 miles in—making it a great option for a shorter out-and-back hike. The trail is rocky with stairs near the falls, and it winds through beautiful stands of mountain laurel and rhododendron. Please note that the waterfall may dry up during periods of little rainfall. This trail also connects with several others, allowing hikers to create scenic loops and explore more of the park’s rugged terrain.
