Does your pup have what it takes to be a B.A.R.K Ranger? B.A.R.K. Ranger programs are designed to help guests and their pets have a positive experience in parks. Ranger will lead a one mile guided hike and go over the B.A.R.K. principles. After the hike, participants will have the chance to decorate a provided dog bandanna and/or purchase branded Pocahontas B.A.R.K. Ranger merchandise and then have their pet sworn in as an official B.A.R.K. Ranger.
The trail will be dirt and hard packed gravel with some inclines. Pet's must be on leashes no greater than 6ft in length and kept under control at all times. Waste must be bagged and disposed of properly (one of the B.A.R.K. Ranger principles).
Please read our blog for more information on the B.A.R.K. Ranger program, email Rebecca.Whalen@dcr.virginia.gov, or call 1-804-796-4472.
