Long ago, giant beasts roamed these lands...put yourself into the shoes of an Ice Age hunter in this spear-throwing workshop using an ancient spear-throwing device: the atlatl! The atlatl was used on the North American continent and all over the world, enabling both men and women to efficiently hunt megafauna such as woolly mammoths and giant ground sloths. Come try your hand at spear-throwing and experience the power of the atlatl!

This activity is best suited for participants ages 10 and up. Children under the age of 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please wear closed-toe shoes.

Register here to let us know you're coming. We will contact you if the program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
