Join a park ranger for a guided walk along Douthat Lake as we observe the amazing journey of migratory birds. Learn about the incredible routes that waterfowl, raptors, and other species travel each year, why they migrate, and how they survive the long journey. Along the way, we’ll practice spotting and identifying birds, discuss their behaviors, and explore the challenges they face during migration. This walk is a great opportunity for bird enthusiasts of all ages to connect with nature and see fall migration in action. Be sure to bring binoculars, wear sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather.
