Learn about one of the park's special creatures: the zebra swallowtail butterfly! These beautiful bugs can be seen floating around meadows and forests during this time of year. The caterpillars of the zebra swallowtail love Powhatan State Park for a very specific reason...come find out why! You'll come face to face with live caterpillars and make your own zebra swallowtail buddy that can be worn as a bracelet.
