Join park rangers as we stroll through Big Stone’s Historic Glencoe Cemetery. Participants will explore and discover the stories of a few of the town’s past cast of characters. We will learn about individuals who came to Southwest Virginia with the lure of making a better life for themselves; business leaders and teachers, musicians and craftspeople, plus a host of others that have contributed the close-knit community that we share today.

Please wear comfortable shoes and expect moderate standing and walking. The tour will begin at the parking area within the cemetery (near the information kiosk). Please join us!
