Pine needle crafting can rise to an art form, but one has to start somewhere. This activity will get you started making baskets out of our provided pine needles and sewing materials.

Please stop in advance at the Park Office to pay the workshop fee of $2 per person or $6 for four people and bring your receipt to the program where we'll introduce you to the craft.

The program is not suitable for children under 6 years old. The program is not readily available to the parking area, so if you need assistance, please contact bcguide@dcr.virginia.gov.
