Program Location: Discovery Center
Main Park Address: Douthat State Park, 14239 Douthat State Park Rd., Millboro, VA 24460.

When

May 28, 2026. 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Step into the shoes of an archaeologist and uncover the secrets of an owl’s diet! Learn about owl adaptations, behavior, and how they hunt. We'll also explore what owl pellets really are (hint: they’re not puke or poop!) before you get hands-on by dissecting one. Using charts to match bones to specific animals, you’ll piece together the mystery of what these fascinating creatures had for dinner. Ready to dig in?

Meet at the Discovery Center.
