As we explore the park's diverse landscapes, you'll have the chance to spot wildlife, identify native plants, and learn about the delicate ecosystems that thrive here. Along the way, take in breathtaking vistas of Douthat Lake and discover a hidden vernal pool, a seasonal habitat teeming with life. Even if you’ve walked this trail before, we’ll be slowing down and taking a closer look, inviting you to notice things you may have missed. This hike is great for all ages and offers the perfect opportunity to connect with the beauty of the park, one step at a time.
