A Salute to the CCC Legacy

Take a guided hike through Westmoreland State Park and learn about the legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). As part of Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal, the CCC developed this park in the 1930s, making it one of the first six state parks in Virginia. On this tour, you'll see some of the original structures erected by the young men of the CCC and you'll get a workout to boot! 

Please wear close-toed shoes, bring plenty of drinking water, and don't forget sunscreen and bug spray.
