Discover what lives in the streams of Westmoreland State Park. For this program, we will walk down Rock Springs Pond Trail and search for the aquatic invertebrates that call this park home. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, plenty of drinking water, and hike-appropriate footwear. This program is conducted in accordance with Virginia state law; park staff possess the proper permits and training to collect and briefly handle certain aquatic wildlife.

Participants get hands on with critters from the creek with ranger lily!
