Come find us at the Splash Park as we get hands on with skulls and furs from Virginia’s native animals. Find out what it’s like to pet a coyote, 'boop' the snoot of a beaver, and pose for pictures with a fox without worrying about teeth, claws, or laws getting in your way. This is an excellent tactile experience for young children, adults, and folks with learning disabilities. We’ll learn a bit about each of the animals as we go, about how state parks source their skulls and furs, and their place in the ecosystem.
