Owls are some of Mason Neck's most mysterious residents, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t spot them throughout the park. As they begin to come out for the night, we’ll go on a sunset walk and search for these wise birds while learning more about the different owls that live around the park and Northern Virginia. Meet Interpreters at the Visitor Center, then prepare for a short hike along Kane's Creek Trail. Wear clothing to suit the weather, insect repellent, and water are recommended.
