Beat the summer heat with a stream-side guided hike to learn the basics of tree identification. Learn about the common tree species of Virginia and see several of the rarer species unique to the Blue Ridge Mountains during this walk. We will be meeting at Cabin Creek Trail for a moderate out-and-back hike. Be prepared by wearing closed-toe shoes and bringing water. Families and children are welcome!
