Canoe Launch
When
July 6, 2025. 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
What can the creatures that live in the river tell us about the water? A lot!
Collect macroinvertebrates from the shallows near the boat launch and discover how these creatures indicate water quality. We'll be looking for stoneflies, crayfish, mayflies, and more! Wear shoes/clothes you don't mind getting wet. Be prepared for slippery rocks and tiny creatures.
