Let us teach you all the basics you'll need to know to get yourself started with one of our most popular outdoor activities, from tying on your hook and tackle to casting your line. Then, we'll try our luck in the lake. We'll bring the rods, reels, and bait, and you bring the smiles. Water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and bug spray recommended.

A license is required to fish in Virginia if you are 16 or older. Licenses are available for purchase online HERE and at the park's Front Office. Park guests with no license are welcome to attend but will not be able to fish.
