The Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum will host their Annual Yard Sale fundraising event on Saturday, September 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can look forward to a diverse selection of unique items for sale. In addition to the various offerings from the Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum, local community members will also participate, showcasing a wide array of products such as clothing, household and garden supplies, home decor, tools, crafts and much more.

Donations are needed for the sale, and the Friends will accept items in good condition - except clothing and shoes. Members of the public may drop-off items at the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park office building (the brick building on Shawnee Ave., across the street from the Museum) on Monday-Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, Aug. 11 through Friday, Aug. 29.

The Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
