Kayak season is here! Kayak the Clinch with rangers from Clinch River State Park on Saturday, August 2nd. This will be a long float of about 7.1 miles and go from Artrip to Cleveland. Registration is required and is limited to eight people. Children must be 13 years of age or older to float. A shuttle will leave the UVA Wise Oxbow Center in St. Paul at 9 a.m. The program fee is $20 and covers use of the kayak, paddle and life jacket. Please bring water and snacks, or a bag lunch.
