June 26th is National Canoe & Kayak Day!

Paddle under the darkening sky to visit the ghosts that haunt the lost town of Fayerdale. Hear the tales of the spirits of the moonshiners that called this area home.

This cost is $15 per canoe rental or $5 to bring your own boat. Life jackets are required at all times. Registration is required and must be made in person at the park office on the day of the event.

This program is suitable for ages 5 and up. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Boats leave at start time. Participants must arrive 15 minutes early to board canoes. Maximum participation: 12 boats (3-4 per canoe depending on size of individuals).
