Join us during Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend and work on completing different badges.

Daisy Trail Adventures (2-4 p.m.): Join us to choose, prepare, and go on an outdoor adventure.

Brownie Outdoor Adventure (2-4 p.m.): Participants will rotate through, Step 2: Explore Nature-Sky Watch, Step 4: Camp Skill-Campfire, and Step 5: Care for the Outdoors-Care for Animals. Program and waiting list are full. Please reach out to your Council about self-led activities.

Cadette Eco Trekker (5-8 p.m.): Complete all five steps for this badge while journeying five miles (round trip) to Group Camp 7, a historically segregated camping area used by Girl Scouts in the 1940s.

About Girl Scouts Love State Parks

Every September, during Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend, Virginia State Parks offers a variety of programs to connect Girl Scouts with nature while earning badges. From guided hikes and plant identification to campfire building and backpacking basics, this special weekend helps Girl Scouts learn outdoor skills, build confidence and become advocates for the environment.
