Join a ranger for a stream-side guided hike to learn the basics of tree identification. Learn common tree species of Virginia and see several of the rarer species unique to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We will be meeting at Cabin Creek Trail for a moderate out-and-back hike. Be prepared by wearing closed-toe shoes and bringing water.
