The one and only mammal on the planet capable of true flight absolutely loves Hungry Mother State Park. Join our interpretive rangers on a wagon ride throughout the park to hit up the resident bat hot spots. We'll be dispelling myths and learning to appreciate our flying friends around us along the way. Using a sonar detector, we can learn the species of bats that are flying overhead.
Spots are limited, so registration and payment of $3 per participant are required in advance at the Discovery Center or by calling (276) 781-7400.
