Vernal Pool Hike

Join a ranger for a hike up to the vernal pool we have here at the park. Vernal pools are small, shallow, seasonal wetlands that fill with water during the spring and winter. Providing a unique habitat for specialized plants and animals including amphibians. Please wear close toed shoes as we will be hiking. We recommend that you bring water along with you. Meeting for this program will be at the Sugar Hill Trail Head here in St. Paul, Va. If the weather is bad this program will be rescheduled. We hope to see you there!
