National Trails Day Hike

June 7, 2025. 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Come join a ranger for a hike on National Trails Day here at Clinch River State Park! Come enjoy our beautiful riverside trails. For this hike we will be taking the riverside trail, which is about 1.9 Miles. Meeting for this program will be at the Sugar Hill Trail Head in St. Paul, Va. Please wear close toed shoes and bring water as we will be hiking. In the event of bad weather this program will be rescheduled. We hope to see you there!

About National Trails Day

On the first Saturday of June, Virginia State Parks celebrates National Trails Day, an annual event encouraging outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to explore hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Virginia’s 43 state parks offer guided hikes, trail maintenance workshops and volunteer opportunities to highlight trail stewardship and the importance of preserving trails for future generations.
