Come learn about the Clinch River's famous mussels. Mussels are a very important part of the Clinch River. We have over 50 species alone in just the Clinch. 29 of those species are only found here in the Clinch River, they aren't found anywhere else in the world. So, come join us for a fun day in the river looking at mussels and different species found in the Clinch River. Meeting for this event will be at the Oxbow center, a van ride will be provided down to the river. Please wear close toed water shoes, also bring water or a snack. Snorkel masks will be provided, we recommend wearing a bathing suit or bringing a change of clothes. If weather permits this program will be rescheduled. We hope to see you there!
