Want to learn how to go geocaching? Join one of our rangers on a guided program on how to start your geocache adventure. Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache out in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology, and then share the geocache's existence and location online.
Anyone with a GPS unit can then try to locate the geocache. You can use your own GPS unit or the GPS app on your phone. When a cache is found, the finder goes to www.geocaching.com or to the 'Found' feature on their app to log the visit, maybe upload a photo, and read what others said about it.
Meeting location: Please meet at the Depot at Foster Falls (116 Orphanage Dr., Max Meadows).
