What's in that ditch? It's a vernal pool. These seasonal wetlands are vital to our ecosystems. Come explore these bodies of water while we search for macroinvertebrates and amphibians. Wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty and please refrain from putting perfumed lotions on your hands. Wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to go off trail.
