Eagle, Osprey, and Owls, oh my! Many species of raptors call the Mason Neck peninsula home, either year round or for a short time. The park's plentiful forests and closeness to water make this area an excellent spot for hunting. Peer out over the Bay with a pair of binoculars as we search for raptors over the Bay or above the forest, or get a closer look with some of our collection of hawks to learn more about what makes these hunting birds so impressive.
