Join us for National Kids to Parks Day! Celebrate the importance of pollinators with a fun, hands-on craft designed for kids of all ages. Learn about bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while creating your own nature-inspired craft to take home.
Crafts will be set up at the Big Water Visitor Center from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
About National Kids to Parks Day
Virginia State Parks celebrates National Kids to Parks Day on the third Saturday in May by offering a variety of fun, family-friendly activities, from nature scavenger hunts and ranger-led hikes to fishing clinics and flora and fauna wagon rides. This annual event encourages kids to explore the outdoors while learning about wildlife and engaging in hands-on environmental education.
