"Roses are red, Violets are blue; Cupid can shoot a bow, now you can too!"

Come do a unique activity with your sweetheart, best friend, or other half at this special Valentine's Day archery program at Widewater State Park. Learn to shoot a bow before having your photo taken to bring home as a sweet memory.

The age requirement is 16+ years old. This 1.5 hour program is limited to 6 participants and tickets are bought in pairs for $20 per pairPre-registration and pre-payment is required for this program, and you can register here. You can pre-pay over the phone by calling the Visitor Center at (540)288-1400.

Parents and guardians must remain with their children under 18 years old throughout the duration of the program.

On the date of the program, you must check in at the front desk inside the Visitor's Center where the ranger on duty will sign you in and direct you to where the program is being held.

Make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes! Cold-weather gloves, scarves, and hats are highly recommended. If the air temperature without windchill gets below 35 degrees F, the program will be cancelled.
