Do you know how many common "weeds" have historic use as food and medicine? For centuries, mountain folk have relied on the land for survival and to cure a variety of ailments. Come learn about the most common backyard plants that have more uses than you might think.
The fun begins at the Caboose at Foster Falls at 1 p.m. The hike will last around an hour. These walks are weather dependent; please check the website for any cancellations. Wear close-toe shoes, and bring water and food as needed. The trail surface is crushed stone and a gentle grade. Leashed pets are welcome.
