Opt Outside Day The day after Thanksgiving is often the start of a busy season for many. Join us to get outside and take in some fresh air.
9:30 am-10:00 am Mindful moments. Join Park Interpreter Meg Doppée on a guided mindful journey. As we begin to tackle all the end of year events and chaos it is important to take a few moments to yourself. Learn a few tricks to stop all the racing thoughts, help with anxious moments and be better prepared for what life hands you. Meet at the Interpretive Center, and we will walk a short way to our mindful spot. Bring a chair, or blanket. This will be outdoors to prepare for the weather. If it is raining, we will hold this inside the Interpretive Center.
10:30-12:30 Interpretive Center is open for self-guided hands-on experiences.
10:30-12:30 Self-guided Family Scavenger hunt. Bring your adventure spirit and see if you can find all the clues and solve the riddle. Pick up your first clue at the Interpretive Center.
