Learn about fall's favorite fruit, the persimmon, while enjoying a relaxing canoe paddle along Swift Creek Lake. The trip includes a brief overview of canoeing safety and techniques. All equipment will be provided, and program is suitable for ages 6 and up.

Boats are limited and attendees must register in advance at the Park Office or by calling              804-796-4255. This program is $10 per person, and fees must be paid upon registration. Please bring plenty of water and snacks; wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet; and arrive 15 minutes early. Event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
