Calling all young explorers! Step into the enchanting world of Widewater State Park and uncover the secrets of nature’s greatest inventors. From beavers to birds and plants, learn how these amazing creatures and flora inspire incredible human inventions. Through hands-on activities, guided walks, and creative projects, your child will embark on an unforgettable educational journey.

Program 3: Flight School: Learning from Birds and Bugs

This program takes children on an adventure into the world of flight. Students will discover how birds and insects achieve flight, and how their unique adaptations have inspired modern aviation. Activities include bird-watching, crafting paper planes and kites based on bird and insect wing designs, and understanding the science behind lift and aerodynamics.
