Perfect for families and curious minds of all ages, Solar Saturdays offer a bright way to learn and play under the sun. We'll delve into solar energy, astronomy, and the science behind our closest star. Our Interpreter will have solar binoculars for safely viewing the sun and will discuss the pros and cons of different types of binoculars for viewing birds to butterflies, from beginner to expert uses. Meet at the picnic tables near the Pollinator Garden. Please note this is weather dependent. Rain cancels. Reminder, parking fees are in effect at Sweet Run State Park. $10 per car payable at the kiosk upon entering the park.
