Calling all Girl Scouts, girls, and women of all ages! Practice the ways of fire-building from a park ranger and bring those skills to your next camping trip. You'll learn how to scavenge for the right tinder materials, construct a fire-friendly foundation, and keep it roaring steadily and safely (all without using lighter fluid). Of course all campfires must be tested by roasting marshmallows and making s'mores, so bring your appetite!

Registration is required due to limited supplies. Please call the park office from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.: (804) 598-7148 to make a reservation.
