How can we be more sustainable when practicing our favorite hobbies? Join the Rangers in this fishing 101 workshop to learn how to fish while also picking up tips on how to be more environmental friendly in our recreational activities. Learn how to tie a hook, the baits to use, and proper techniques during this program. PLEASE NOTE: any program participant over the age of 16 will be required to have a valid VA saltwater fishing license, available online at https://www.gooutdoorsvirginia.com

Rods, bait, and other supplies are limited - bring your own if possible.

All programs are free to attend and are weather-dependent. Please wear appropriate outdoor gear, bring water, and consider bug spray and sunscreen.
