Stop by the Wilderness Road Blockhouse to experience fall on the frontier as rangers and volunteers discuss how the time of harvest was a critical time in the 18th century. Join in activities suitable for the whole family from corn husk doll making and tours of the Blockhouse to salt making and firearm demonstrations.

Natural Tunnel State Park is proud to offer red/green colorblindness correcting outdoor glasses by EnChroma during all offered programming; three protan red sensitivity and three deutan green sensitivity are available for use during programs.

The blockhouse, a two story building made of rough cut logs. Shaped like two square boxes stacked, the second floor extends outward beyond the sides of the first floor.
