Solar Eclipse 2024
Where
Claytor Lake State Park, 6620 Ben H. Bolen Dr., Dublin, VA 24084.
Beach Building
When
April 8, 2024. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Join us for this rare and fascinating event. The next solar eclipse visible from the US won’t be until 2044, so don’t miss out. From our vantage point we will get to witness a partial solar eclipse of 80-90% coverage, so eye protection for viewing the eclipse is a must. The eclipse will begin around 2 p.m. and reach its peak by 3:15 p.m. You can view this eclipse from anywhere in the park (weather depending), but there will be a naturalist at the beach building answering any eclipse related questions you may have.
