Nature Photography Series - Campfires and Firefly Photography
Where
Raymond R. "Andy" Guest, Jr. Shenandoah River State Park, 350 Daughter of Stars Dr., Bentonville, VA 22610.
RV Campground Fire Pit
When
June 22, 2024. 8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
We will start with a campfire and, of course, making S’mores. At our campfire, we will review facts about fireflies and strategize how to photograph them. While we wait for fireflies to do their magic, we will practice by photographing the campfire. Then we will wait to see nature’s fireworks as the fireflies' sparkling lights begin to glow. All types of cameras from smartphones to professional cameras and levels of photographers are welcomed.
To get to the RV Campground fire pit, please follow park signage until you reach the RV Campground. From there, follow the temporary signage to the RV Campground fire pit.
