Calling all volunteers and groups. Martin Luther King Jr. Service day is upon us. If you would like to volunteer at Mason Neck State Park on January 15, please come by the park to participate in a shoreline and trail clean up. The shores of our ark often collect debris and micro-plastics that wash in with the tides. With your help, we can keep our bay and its banks litter free.
The park will provide trash bags and a few trash pickers (first come first serve). We recommend you bring sturdy walking shoes, work gloves, and plenty of water and snacks. This event will occur rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
