It's the most wonderful time of the year at Claytor Lake State Park. Enjoy a peaceful winter stroll down to our lighted holiday gazebo along the lake's edge. Take a family photo or simply enjoy the scenery. You can also observe the lights from across the cove at the Marina parking lot in the comfort of your warm vehicle. Please turn vehicle headlights off once safely parked.
The lights will be available to view from 6-10 p.m. on Dec. 11-Jan. 1. The holiday lights are donated by the Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors, the park volunteer support group. For additional information, to become a member, or if you’d like to make a donation to the group, visit their website HERE.
The $7 daily parking fee still applies. Pay with cash or check at the Contact Station using self-pay envelopes or with a credit card by clicking HERE. Parking is available at the Park Office and additional viewing/parking is located at the Marina parking lot.
