The park will host their "Songs of Service" Recognition at this Lunch on the Lawn. "Songs of Service" & Lunch on the Lawn will feature a performance by Katie Bledsoe and The Holler Dogs.

This annual event serves as a thank you to all men and women who serve their communities and is a day of remembrance for the victims of 9/11. The "Friends of the Museum" will sponsor a free meal to all service members that attend.

The public may bring their own lunch, or purchase a delicious lunch of a hot dog, chips, dessert, and choice of beverage from the park for $6. Orders must be made in advance by 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, so we may plan for meals accordingly.
