 How about going for a hike to look for fossils? From the tiniest of shark teeth to a whopping whale skeleton, the fossils of Horsehead Cliffs show that life was once very different at Westmoreland.

This ranger guided hike will take you 0.6 miles to Fossil Beach. Bring water, hat and sunscreen, and hiking shoes. It is recommended to bring a sifter or strainer to help you beach comb and find fossils!
