Join the Park Ranger for our homeschool programming. These hour-long sessions will cover various nature topics to encourage exploration through engaging games and activities that aim to facilitate a robust learning environment.

August 2: Birds (Ornithology)
August 9: Archaeology

Pre-registration required. Limit 20 children per program. FREE. All programs will start at the Visitor Center.

How to Register: Please leave a message on the Visitor Center answering machine (540) 288-1400 with your name, number of people in the group, and your contact information as well as the name, date and time of program. We will call you back to confirm your spot. Registration over emails will not be accepted.
