Join our friends with the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail for a day of fishing fun! Junior Angler is a National Park Service program that introduces young anglers to the pastime of fishing. Learn how to set up your fishing pole, cast your line, and reel them in with the help of experienced anglers. Back on shore, chat with a park ranger about the long history of fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. Then, you'll be sworn in as a Junior Ranger! Participants will take home an activity booklet and a special junior ranger badge.
