Calling all homeschoolers to join the rangers at Pocahontas State Park for monthly programs on the third Monday of the month. These hands-on programs are designed for the whole family and will introduce everyone to a variety of nature-themed activities.

Spring Critters - Learn about a sign of spring that can be warty, slimy, and/or slippery-amphibians!

Cost is $3/child, with ages 3 and under free of charge. Parking fees are waived. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for hiking. Pack a picnic and enjoy the park afterwards. Programs run from 10-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.
