Celebrate National Trails Day with a hike at Bear Creek Lake State Park. Before you set out, stop by the Ranger Table at the Lakeside Snack Bar for trail information and chat with a ranger about outdoor safety and the basic necessities of hiking. Park trail maps are also available at the kiosks located on Channel Cat Trail at the beach parking lot, at the Cumberland Multi-Use Trail (CMT) parking lot, and on the Bear Creek Forest Road at the Lost Barr Loop access parking area. Maps of the Cumberland State Forest are located at the park office and the CMT parking lot. You can download the park's trail guide HERE. Before you set out, stop by the Ranger Table at the Lakeside Snack Bar for trail information and see the basic necessities of hiking.
