It’s Eastern Bluebird nesting time! Monitoring these nests is an important and exciting part of maintaining nest boxes. Join a ranger to take a look inside…if we’re lucky, we may catch a glimpse of eggs or chicks! You’ll learn a bit about the life history of bluebirds, why their population has been threatened, and how the establishment of nest boxes has aided in their recovery.

After the walk, you can stay to make a bird feeder or participate in a nest box building workshop from 10am-12pm. Registration is required if you'd like to build a nest box.
