Kiptopeke State Park invites visitors ages 4+ to become a Junior Ranger. By completing the Junior Ranger Booklet kids will take the Junior Ranger Pledge to preserve and protect our parks, and earn their Junior Ranger badge!
The Junior Ranger Booklet is full of self-guided activities that allow kids and families the opportunity to become more familiar with the Eastern Shore of Virginia, along with the natural resources of Kiptopeke State Park. Participants are also encouraged to attend ranger led activities when scheduled.
Junior Ranger Booklets are available at the park office during office hours. When the booklet is completed stop by the park office and a park ranger will check your work, administer the Junior Ranger Pledge, and present the official Junior Ranger badge!
Booklets are free of charge to participants.
